NOTICE: Please review before renting-

WEATHER: While we wish everyone could have a beautiful day on the lake, sometimes the weather does not always cooperate with us. Unfortunately we can’t guarantee everyone sunshine and warm weather the day of their rental, therefore, Truman state Park Marina will only be responsible for holding the type of boat reserved on the date of rental. The marina may grant a cancellation due to inclement weather, but that is at the discretion of the marina and will be granted on the day of rental. If the marina decides that the weather is not suitable to send boats out on the lake,  then the marina will move your reservation to another available date that the renter decides within the calendar year. This will be done by 7:00am on the day of the rental.

Any additional fees of rental (Fuel, Damages, etc.) will be taken care of following the return of the rental.

Cancellation or Change: Truman State Park Marina will not allow any cancellations or changes to a rental reservation within seven days of the rental departure date. If a renter does cancel within the seven day period of the rental departure date, then the renter will be held responsible for the whole amount of the boat that was reserved. If a boat has been reserved for several days, payment will be due for all dates scheduled. 

If a cancellation is needed to be made and it is outside the seven day period of the rental departure date, then the rental will still be held responsible for $100.00  of the rental and any additional fees that may occur.

If a change is needed to be made and is outside of the seven day period of the rental departure date, then the marina will grant one different available date within the calendar year of the original reservation.

Late Return Fee: Any renter that returns boat(s)  after their scheduled time(s), will be held responsible to pay a minimum $100 per hour after return time has been missed.

Boundaries and towing: If a boat is found out of their boundary lines and needs to be towed, the renter will be charged a fee of $200

Damages: The renter will be responsible for any and all damages that occur during their rental time, and will be liable for their boating actions during the rental time. 

Damages from pets are excluded from Damage Waiver if purchased. Renter may be charged a cleaning fee of $50 for excessive pet hair.
